Approach

My approach focuses on the identity structure, more precisely on the complexity of emotion and human psychology. It is through brightly colored characters in the form of human puzzles, cells or fragmented beings that my questions and reflections feed my quest. Through them, I wish to offer the viewer the awakening of an inner emotion, an open-mindedness, a stop on consciousness. I am interested in the trace of time, the impacts of the outside world in our lives, our fragility, our powers and our identity dualities. We are all unique organic assemblages bringing together every detail of our life journey. With each painting, I take a look at the psychology of colors, its assignment in our environment. I question our world of energies and our vibrations. We particularly resonate with those of others, with certain colors, materials and shapes. What impact will our state of mind have on our balance, our suffering, our joys, our memories, our environment and the type of diversity in which we choose to evolve? It is in front of each character that I face a reality and that I invite to look at the world in us.
